In the advanced countries including Korea, it is mandatory to equipment the car with the catalytic converter in the gasoline car for reduction of exhaust which is the air contaminant. The catalytic converter contains the catalyst which has platinum (Pt), palladium (Pd) and rhodium (Rd). The petrochemical process also uses various kinds of catalysts, and some of which contain the metals such as platinum (Pt) and palladium (Pd). They are recycled by NH RECYTECH's process.
